So this is my first music post, trying to see how this goes. So for many of you who don't know I am just a clusterfuck of music genres if you look at my ipod. One particular artist that has come to my attention is Australian bombshell Iggy Azalea. I first came across her on tumblr when I was seeing so many gifs of her music videos, and I was thinking, "who is this blonde bombshell giving attitude, I love it". So after doing some research I found out she is actually a female rapper and I have to say her music is amazing! In a world where Minaj is queen of the rap game, I have a feeling that Iggy could be a force to be reckoned with. Iggy, born Amethyst Amelia Kelly, in Sydney, Austraia started rapping at just the age of 14. She sites Gwen Stefani, Tupac, Kanye West and Grace Kelly as some of her inspirations. Her EP Glory was released July 30th, 2012. After downloading her ep and listening to the tracks, I'm excited to see where her career and music goes next. Not to mention she has developed a style that Minaj should take a note of. She is very high fashion meets hip hop princess. She can prove to not only be a dark horse in the rap game but a fast rising style icon. I am now a huge fan, and you should be to. My favorite track from her EP would have to be Runway ft Pusha T.
