So I was rummaging around our basement looking for my next project to add to my room, and I came across this amazing thing! Its a picture framed mirror. I thought it would look great on my vintage suitcase/nightstand. But of course it clashes with the whole design of my room. So I decided to spray paint it a matte black since my whole room is a monochromatic scale of black, white and different shades of grey. (Ew just remembered that book) Anyway's here is what I did so you guys can do a similar project if you choose.
Tools you'll need:
-spray paint
-gloves
-newspaper
Next I removed the back panel, cardboard and mirror. Now normally you would tape off whatever you don't want getting spray painted, but since all this was removable it made this project a lot easier.
So after spray painting the frame this is what the finished product is after putting everything back together
Now whats on my new mirror tray you ask(from top photo):
-my sunglasses
-cough drops (I'm sick)
-my keys
-my new favorite ring (accessories post coming soon)
-random nailcippers
